Im Kühlregister (5) eines Oberflächenkühlers (1) werden ausschließlich Rohre (7) eingesetzt, die eine glatte Oberfläche aufweisen, nicht mit Rippen ausgerüstet sind und zudem tropfenförmig gestaltet sind, wobei der runde Wandbereich (8) des Rohres (7) der eintretenden Luft zugewandt ist und der tropfenförmig gestaltete Wandbereich (11) des Rohres (7) sich in Abströmrichtung der Luft erstreckt.
