[origin: JPH0192439A] PURPOSE: To hold a yarn while preventing the damage of the yarn in a suction tube at the start of splicing operation by reducing the suction acting on the yarn after introducing the yarn into the suction tube. CONSTITUTION: A sensing device 10 is placed in a suction tube 7. When the sensing device 10 detects a yarn in the suction tube 7 at the start of splicing operation, a signal is transmitted to a controlling apparatus 11 through a wire 17. The controlling apparatus 11 actuates an adjusting member 15 through a wire, opens a flap 14 and reduces the suction in the suction tube 7 by opening a bypass 13. The suction can be reduced also by e.g. decreasing the rotational speed of a motor 9 driving a suction pump 8.

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf ein Verfahren und Vorrichtungen zum selbsttätigen Fadenansetzen an einer Ringspinnmaschine, wobei das Ende eines gebrochenen Fadens vom Windungskegel des betreffenden Kopses 3 abgeblasen und in eine Saugglocke 6 eingesaugt wird, wonach bei Vorhandensein dieses Fadens in einer der Saugglocke 6 nachgeordneten Ansaugleitung der Ansetzvorgang beginnt. Erfindungsgemäß wird nach Eintritt des Fadens in die Ansaugleitung 7 der auf den Faden einwirkende Saugzug vermindert. Diese Verminderung kann beispielsweise durch die Reduzierung der Drehzahl des den Ventilator antreibenden Motors durch eine verstellbare Blende oder durch einen sogenannten Bypass erzielt werden.
