Installation de projection de produit de revêtement, notamment une peinture hydrosoluble conductrice. L'installation comporte une unité de changement de couleur (11) reliée par un circuit de distribution (12) à un projecteur (13); un réservoir intermédiaire (41) susceptible d'être déconnecté de l'unité de changement de couleur est constitué par un tronçon de conduit du circuit (12), lequel peut être mis en communication avec un réservoir (44) de produit de rinçage pressurisé pour permettre le poussage de la peinture injectée dans ledit réservoir intermédiaire. Application à la peinture des éléments de carrosserie dans l'industrie automobile.
