[origin: EP0303559A2] To adjust an individual flow resistance for varyingly formed and dimensioned combustion air circulations of burner appliances, there is provided in such a combustion air circulation (7), in the region of the inlet or in the region of the emerging waste gases, an adjustable flow regulator (10) which, depending on the local conditions and with the aid of a scale (17 or 20) taking these conditions into account, can be adjusted to an individual desired resistance corresponding to these conditions, in order to allow the air quantity necessary for optimum combustion to flow to the burner of the appliance.
