[origin: EP0303589A2] A fuel injection nozzle with needle lift sensor has a nozzle body (1) and a nozzle holder (8) connected to this via an intermediate plate (4). Between an annular shoulder (23) on the nozzle needle (3) and the intermediate plate (4) a working air gap (1) is provided.
