[origin: WO8806811A1] Laser generator comprising a phase locking device of the laser generator modes, disposed between the amplifying active medium (3) and the reflecting rear mirror (1) and provided with, on the one hand, a non-linear and non-dispersive medium (5) placed in contact with said rear mirror (1) and, on the other hand, devices (11- 16) for transforming a gaussian beam with symmetrical revolution, emitted by the amplifying medium, into a beam with a morphology adapted to soliton propagation in said non-linear medium (5). The use of acoustic-optical modulators is rendered unnecessary. Application to a very broad wavelength range.

Le générateur laser comprend un dispositif de verrouillage en phase des modes du générateur laser, placé entre le milieu actif amplificateur (3) et le miroir réfléchissant arrière (1) et comprenant d'une part, un milieu non-linéaire (5) non-dispersif placé en contact avec ledit miroir arrière (1) et d'autre part, des moyens (11 à 16) pour transformer un faisceau gaussien à symétrie de révolution issu du milieu amplificateur en un faisceau de morphologie adaptée à la propagation soliton dans ledit milieu non-linéaire(5). L'invention évite l'utilisation de modulateurs de type acousto-optique et peut s'appliquer à une très large plage de longueurs d'onde.
