[origin: EP0303785A2] In an electrical plug, consisting of a metal housing and an insulating body holding contact parts, such as connector pins or connector sleeves, in order to simplify the detachable attachment of the insulating body in the plug housing it is proposed to secure the insulating body in the plug housing by means of a direct bayonet lock, the bayonet lock comprising a radially directed projection on the outer circumference of the insulating body and an angled wall cut-out in the housing wall of the plug housing, and the bayonet lock being allowed a security device against being rotated backwards, which can be overcome. Furthermore, in order to latch the insulating body in the plug housing, an assembly tool is provided, designed as a simple hand tool. <IMAGE>
