Abstract (en)
The notching tongs for crimping end caps, cable shoes and connectors on electrical conductors has mutually crossing tong limbs (1, 2) of flat spring steel which are connected to one another at the crossing point via a hinge bolt (3). The two limbs (1 and 2) of the tongs each consist of two identical shells (1', 2') arranged parallel to one another. To ensure that they spring back when they are pressed beyond the crimping position, each of the shells is provided with a longitudinal slot (9) which extends via the hole for the hinge bolt, originating from the edge on the jaw side. When the tongs are closed, the slots 8 are aligned in the central longitudinal plane of the tongs. The slots permit the handle sections (1b) and (2b) to spring back when they are pressed beyond the crimping position in order to disengage the latch (11) with the toothed catch projection (12) when the tongs are pressed beyond the crimping position. <IMAGE>

Die Kerbzange zum Aufpressen von Aderendhülsen, Kabelschuhen und -verbindern auf elektrische Leiter weist sich kreuzende Zangenschenkel (1,2) aus Flachfederstahl auf, die an der Kreuzungsstelle über einen Gelenkbolzen (3) miteinander verbunden sind. Beide Schenkel (1 und 2) der Zange bestehen aus je zwei parallel zueinander angeordneten baugleichen Schalen (1',2'). Zur Nachfederung beim Überpressen sind die Schalen jeweils mit einem Längsschlitz (9) ausgerüstet, der sich vom backenseitigen Rand ausgehend über die Bohrung für den Gelenkbolzen erstreckt. In der Schließstellung der Zange verlaufen die Schlitze 8 fluchtend in der Mittellängsebene der Zange. Die Schlitze ermöglichen beim Überpressen ein Nachfedern der Griffabschnitte 1b und 2b, um beim Überpresen die Sperrklinke (11) mit dem gezahnten Rastvorsprung (12) außer Eingriff zu bringen.
