Abstract (en)
The invention relates to a grinding method for ball drum mills and a ball drum mill. It is provided according to the invention that in order to improve the drawing in of material and the friction behaviour in the longitudinal direction of the drum successive balls are subjected, in addition to their rolling movement occurring counter to the direction of rotation of the drum, to a reciprocal relative movement running essentially radial to the drum axis in that the balls are raised or lowered in the radial direction and returned again into their initial position. For this purpose, grooves (2) with a depth which changes along the circumference of the drum are provided in the mill linings (1).

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Mahlverfahren für Kugelrohrmühlen sowie eine Kugelrohrmühle. Erfindungsgemäß ist vorgesehen, daß zur Verbesserung des Materialeinzuges und des Reibungsverhaltens in Trommellängsrichtung aufeinanderfolgende Kugeln zusätzlich zu ihrer entgegen der Drehrichtung der Trommel erfolgenden Umwälzbewegung einer gegenseitigen im wesentlichen radial zur Trommelachse verlaufenden Relativbewegung unterworfen werden, indem die Kugeln in radialer Richtung angehoben oder abgesenkt und wieder in ihre Ausgangslage rückgeführt werden. Dazu sind in den Mahlplatten (1) Rillen (2) mit sich längs des Trommelumfangs verändernder Tiefe vorgesehen.
