Abstract (en)
This invention provides a damping solution for lithographic printing plates which contains inorganic fine particles having an average particle size of 0.1 micron or less and a polymer having a number-average molecular weight of at least 600 and represented by the following formula (I): H - Z - OH (I) wherein Z comprises propylene oxide <CHEM> which occupies at least 50% by weight of the polymer, and a method of using the said solution for printing.
