A slotted-dipole arrangement, which is fitted close in front of the end of a supplying coaxial line (2) which is fitted with an auxiliary reflector (19), is used as the primary emitter system of a parabolic reflector antenna, the slotted-dipole arrangement being completely embedded in a body (18), which consists of dielectric material and is, for example, of cylindrical or rectangular shape, on whose outer circumference, which is of the order of magnitude of approximately one wavelength, there are installed in an insulated manner one or more metallic rings having thin walls. The antenna can be used for military directional radio and, in this case, particularly for mobile operation, since it can be implemented with relatively small dimensions and weight and is difficult to see. <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Als Primärstrahlersystem einer Parabolreflektorantenne wird eine kurz vor dem mit einem Hilfsreflektor (19) versehenen Ende einer speisenden Koaxialleitung (2) angebrachte Schlitzdipol-Anordnung verwendet, die völlig in einem aus dielektrischem Material bestehenden, z.B. zylindrischen oder quaderförmigen Körper (18) eingebettet ist, auf dessen äußeren, in der Größenordnung von etwa einer Wellenlänge liegenden Umfang ein oder mehrere metallische Ringe von geringer Wandstärke isoliert aufgebracht sind. Die Antenne ist im militärischen Richtfunk und hier insbesondere für den mobilen Betrieb verwendbar, da sie sich mit verhältnismäßig kleinen Abmessungen und Gewicht sowie geringer Sichtbarkeit realisieren läßt.
