Flame-proof light fitting. 2.1 A flame-proof light fitting has a lamp holder for receiving a bipin cap fluorescent lamp (13) and a base frame (10) on which the lamp holder is mounted. 2.2 In order to improve and simplify assembly, the lamp holder has at least one holder carrier (11) on which a housing element is arranged in the interior of which a clamping device (31, 32, 33) is accommodated. The housing element is guided displaceably between two positions, and in one position the pins are disengaged from, and in the other position the pins are engaged with the clamping device. 2.3 The light fitting is to be used in a region exposed to the danger of flame. 3.
