Abstract (en)
The element for peripherally sealing a construction (1) that protrudes from a roof, such as e.g. a chimney or dormer, said element being waterproof sealable to the construction (1) and to the sealing portions of the sloping roof, such as e.g. roof tiles (10, 12). The element is a sheet of flexible foil (20) of synthetic material, said foil (20) extending at least along the low side, seen with respect to the sloping roof, of the protruding construction (1) and that can be secured in a waterproof sealed manner onto said low side, the foil (20) extending beyond the two ends of the low side of the construction and being sufficiently wide to be clamped at its edge opposite the low side of the construction (1) between the first (12) and second (18) row of roof tiles that follow the protruding construction (1) in the downward inclination of the sloping roof.
