[origin: JPH01139823A] PURPOSE: To prevent a sliver from winding around pressure rollers when separating the pressure rollers from splined shafts by attaching pendulous arms supporting the pressure rollers to a frame with specific supporting units. CONSTITUTION: This device for drawing rovelike or sliverlike fibers on a spinning machine is obtained by rotatably supporting pendulous arms 4 on pivots 5 of supporting units 6 in the device for drawing equipped with a series of splined shafts 2 for drawing the rove or the sliver, pressure rollers 3 kept in pressure contact therewith and pendulous arms 4 for supporting the pressure rollers 3. The supporting units 6 are fixed to a supporting bar 7. The supporting bar 7 is attached to an assembly movable perpendicularly to the drafting surface in order to keep all the pressure rollers 3 away from the shafts 2 simultaneously and parallel. The assembly is composed by slidably attaching two rods 11 and 12 to the interior of a supporting unit 13.
