[origin: EP0305311A1] This item of filing furniture comprises a base which supports a vertical column on which is mounted at least one revolving filing drum (3), whose cross section is a quadrilateral in which four filing compartments (4) are made, the respective positions of which are deducible from one another by rotation through 90 DEG about the column and whose openings are located, respectively, on the four front faces of the drum (3). The drum (3) consists of a vertical central sleeve (6) mounted in rotation on the column from which radiate four uniformly spaced vertical walls (7) arranged in pairs symmetrically relative to the axis of the drum, each having two rectangular vertical wings (7A), (7B), separated by a vertical folding line, the first (7A) of which is fixed to the central sleeve (6) and extends parallel to one of the median lines of the quadrilateral and the second (7B) of which extends along the side of the quadrilateral intersecting this median line and forms the solid part of the corresponding front face. <IMAGE>
