Abstract (en)
The wristwatch has a face (3), a watch glass (1) and a housing which contains a bottom (2) and a centre part (5) in which a bezel (6) is set into a circumferential groove (7). In order to protect the decorated bezel (6) from scuffing, corrosion and oxidation, the watch glass (1) extends not only over the face but also over the bezel. It is thus possible to decorate the bezel in an even more varied manner without there being the risk of the decoration being worn off. <IMAGE>

Die Armbanduhr weist ein Zifferblatt (3), ein Uhrenglas (1) und ein Gehäuse auf, das ein Boden (2) und ein Mittelteil (5) enthält, in dem in einer umlaufenden Nut (7) ein Glasreif (6) eingelassen ist. Um den dekorierten Glasreif (6) vor Abrieb, Korrosion und Oxydation zu schützen, erstreckt sich das Uhrenglas (1) nicht nur über das Zifferblatt sondern auch über den Glasreif. Dadurch ist es möglich, den Glasreif noch vielfältiger zu dekorieren ohne dass Gefahr besteht, dass sich das Dekor abnutzt.
