Ein Hydromotor mit einem zylindrischen Gehäuse und einer in diesem gelagerten Welle mit flanschförmig verbreitertem Endteil, vorzugsweise eine hydraulische innenverzahnte Zahnradmaschine, besitzt eine verzahnte Welle und einen mit Innen- und Außenverzahnungen versehenen Ringkolben, der mit der Innenverzahnung des Gehäuses oder der Verzahnung der Welle Verdrängungskammern bildet und aufgrund seiner taumelnden Bewegung Einlaß- und Auslaßsteueröffnungen auf- und zusteuert. Damit sich auf die Antriebswelle wirkende Biegemomente unzulässiger Größe, die beispielsweise durch auf mit dieser verbundene Greifer wirkende Querkräfte erzeugt werden, vermeiden lassen, weist das Gehäuse (13) oder ein ringförmiges Gehäuseteil eine ringförmige ebene Stirnfläche auf, die mit einer ringförmigen Fläche (19) des flanschförmig verbreiterten Endteils (15) der Welle (12) einen Spalt bildet, dessen Breite nur so groß ist, daß sich bei einem auf die Welle (12) wirkenden Biegemoment die Stirnfläche auf dem Endteil (15) unter Durchbiegung der Welle nur in derem elastischen Bereich abstützt.
