One-part or multi-part gate or door leaf with a bar lock, which has an upwardly and/or downwardly closing bolt and the locking bars of which are seated in a U-profile open forwards on the end face, as a door-leaf cover strip, so that assembly and, in particular, possible maintenance and fault elimination can be carried out in a simple way; in an especially preferred version, the locking bar or the two locking bars, after being transferred into the opening position, are held in this by means of a catch device, and the catch device triggers the transfer of the previously spring-loaded locking bars into the closing position only when the catch device senses the closing position of the door leaf or door-leaf wing.

Ein- oder mehrteiliges Tor- oder Türblatt (1) mit einem Stangenschloss (11), das einen nach oben und/oder nach unten schließenden Riegel aufweist und dessen Riegelstangen (13, 14) in einem stirnseitig nach vorn offenen U-Profil (4) als Torblattabschluß eingelagert sind, um die Montage und insbesondere eine eventuelle Wartung und Störungsbeseitigung einfach durchführen zu können; in besonders bevorzugter Ausführung werden die Riegelstange (13) bzw. die beiden Riegelstangen (13, 14) mit Hilfe einer Rasteinrichtung (20) nach Überführen in die Öffnungsstellung in dieser gehalten, und die Rasteinrichtung (20) löst den Übergang der vorbereitend federbelasteten Riegelstangen (13, 14) in die Schließstellung erst aus, wenn die Rasteinrichtung (20) die Schließstellung des Torblatts (1) bzw. Torblattflügels (1) ertastet.
