A method for manufacturing a brush, particularly a mascara brush, is described wherein bristles (16) are introduced between two elongate parts (12) of the attachment element (10) and the attachment element (10) is subsequently twisted so that the bristles (16) project radially from the attachment element (10) and extend in helical lines around the attachment element (10). Prior to twisting of the attachment element (10), the bristles (16) are fixed off-centre between the two elongate parts (12) of the attachment element (10) so that the bristles (16) project radially from the attachment element (10) with a partial length (a; a1, a2) further than with their remaining second partial length (b, b1, b2). <IMAGE>

Es wird ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Applikatorbürstchens, insbes. eines Mascara-Bürstchens, beschrieben, bei dem Borsten (16) zwischen zwei längliche Teile (12) des Befestigungselementes (10) eingebracht und das Befestigungselement (10) anschliessend verdrillt wird, so dass die Borsten (16) vom Befestigungselement (10) radial wegstehen und in Schraubenlinien um das Befestigungselement (10) herum verlaufen. Die Borsten (16) werden vor dem Verdrillen des Befestigungselementes (10) aussermittig zwischen den beiden länglichen Teilen (12) des Befestigungselementes (10) festgelegt, so dass die Borsten (16) mit einer Teillänge (a; a1, a2) radial vom Befestigungselement (10) weiter wegstehen als mit ihrer restlichen zweiten Teillänge (b; b1, b2).
