[origin: WO8806243A1] A hydraulic cylinder (1) comprising a cylinder housing (3) and a piston rod (7) with a through opening (7a) is provided with a built-in inductive piston position indicator (20) extending through the opening (7a). The housing of this indicator is secured to one end cover (5) of the hydraulic cylinder, and the core of said indicator is secured to the piston rod (7) by way of a rod. When the piston (6) moves a distance out of its bottom position the core of the piston position indicator (2) moves a corresponding distance which causes an electric signal to be transmitted by the piston position indicator (20), which signal corresponds to the moved distance of the piston (6).

Un vérin hydraulique (1), qui comprend un logement de vérin (3) et une bielle (7) dans laquelle est ménagée une ouverture traversante (7a), est muni d'un indicateur inductif incorporé (20) indiquant la position du piston et s'étendant à travers l'ouverture (7a). Le logement de cet indicateur est fixé à l'un des plateaux d'extrémité (5) du vérin hydraulique et le noyau dudit indicateur est fixé à la bielle (7) au moyen d'une tige. Lorsque le piston (6) s'éloigne sur une certaine distance de sa position inférieure, le noyau de l'indicateur (2) de position du piston se déplace sur une distance correspondante, un signal électrique étant alors émis par l'indicateur (20) de position du piston, signal qui correspond à la distance de déplacement du piston (6).
