[origin: EP0306581A1] Profiled elastomeric sealing element intended to be laid in a peripheral groove of a tunnel lining segment (1, 2), with a flat bottom and inclined edges, and having a face intended to be seated in the groove bottom and provided with a plurality of slots (6, 8, 10, 7, 9, 11) extending in parallel in the longitudinal direction and framed by bearing jambs (12, 14, 16, 18; 13, 15, 17, 19), and a substantially plane opposite face, characterised in that the jamb (18; 19) located on the side where the pressure of the liquid against which sealing is to be ensured is exerted or its two lateral jambs have a lip (20; 21) for bearing on the corresponding inclined edge of the groove of the lining segment. <IMAGE>
