To maintain the sheet tension in the area of the impression cylinder, the impression cylinder (6) is fitted with a resilient covering (7) which is securely attached at the commencement of the printing area but which lies loosely on the continuous surface of the impression cylinder (6) at the end of the printing area. The resilient cover (7) is preferably capable of being drawn into the interior of the impression cylinder (6) at the commencement of the printing area and capable of being wound up on a winding device (15) so that the length of the resilient covering (7) lying on the surface of the impression cylinder is adjustable to match the sheet format to be processed. Moreover, blow strips (13, 21) or ionising bars (22, 23) and de-ionising bars (14, 24, 25) are so arranged with respect to the resilient covering (7) and the sheet (12) that frictional pressure or electrostatic adhesion exists between the two parts (7, 12). <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Zur Aufrechterhaltung der Bogenspannung im Bereich des Druckzylinders ist der Druckzylinder (6) mit einer federnden Abdeckung (7) bespannt, die am Druckanfang befestigt ist, aber zum Druckende hin lose auf der geschlossenen Oberfläche des Druckzylinders (6) aufliegt. Vorzugsweise ist die federnde Abdeckung (7) am Druckanfang in das Innere des Druckzylinders (6) hineinziehbar und dort auf eine Wickelvorrichtung (15) aufwickelbar, so daß die auf der Oberfläche des Druckzylinders (6) zur Anlage kommende Länge der federnden Abdeckung (7) auf das zu verarbeitende Bogenformat einstellbar ist. Außerdem sind der federnden Abdeckung (7) und dem Bogen (12) Blasleisten (13, 21) bzw. Ionisierugnsstäbe (22, 23) und Entionisierungsstäbe (14, 24 25) so zugeordnet, daß ein kraftschlüssiges Anpressen bzw. eine elektrostatische Haftung zwischen beiden Teilen (7, 12) erfolgt.
