Abstract (en)
The technical sector of the invention is that of anti-bending devices for gun barrels, especially of large calibre. The device according to the invention consists of at least one sleeve (1) fixed to the barrel (2) and delimiting around the latter and over some of its length at least one annular cavity (3). It is characterised in that it comprises a ventilation system intended for dissipating the heat which accumulates in the annular cavity (3) in the vicinity of the upper generatrix of the barrel (2). The invention is used for barrels equipping armoured vehicles. <IMAGE>

Le secteur technique de l'invention est celui des dispositifs anti-arcure pour tubes d'armes, en particulier de gros calibre. Le dispositif selon l'invention est constitué par au moins un manchon (1), solidaire du tube (2), délimitant autour de celui-ci et sur une partie de sa longueur au moins une cavité annulaire (3), il est caractérisé en ce qu'il comporte un système de ventilation destiné à évacuer les calories s'accumulant dans la cavité annulaire (3) au voisinage de la génératrice supérieure du tube (2). Application aux tubes équipants les véhicules blindés.
