The invention relates to a lock protection device which consists essentially of a metal plate placed in front of the lock cylinder and having a slot for inserting the key into the lock. In order, on the one hand, to make it more difficult to break open the lock or pull out the core and, on the other hand, to allow a reliable insertion of the key into the cylinder for executing the locking movement, it is proposed that the plate (2) be displaceable axially within the recess (3) to an extent limited by stops. <IMAGE>

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Schloßschutzvorrichtung, die im wesentlichen aus einer dem Schloßzylinder vorgesetzten Metallplatte besteht, die einen Schlitz zum Einführen des Schlüssels in das Schloß aufweist. Um einerseits ein Aufbrechen des Schlosses oder Herausziehen des Kernes zu erschweren, und andererseits ein sicheres Einführen des Schlüssels in den Zylinder zur Durchführung der Schließbewegung zu ermöglichen, wird vorgeschlagen, daß die Platte (2) durch Anschläge begrenzt axial innerhalb der Ausnehmung (3) verschiebbar ist.
