Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0307571A2] The cylinder head cover and the inlet conduit form a constructional unit. The constructional unit is held on a cylinder head of the internal combustion engine by the use of bolts and sprung elements, thereby reducing the emission of noise from the internal combustion engine. In addition, in order to avoid filling losses, one wall of the cylinder head cover, which is an integral part of the inlet conduit, is shielded by means of a cover against hot oil splashes from the cylinder head. <IMAGE>
