The method of producing coatings on any desired substrates with the formation of patinated structured surfaces having a metallic effect a)by coating the substrate with a putty-like coating compound with the formation of a first layer having a peak-to-valley height of not less than 75 mu m, b)coating said first layer with a metallic base lacquer layer, c)coating the layer obtained in accordance with b) with a physically drying coating agent containing dyestuffs and/or coloured pigments, d)partially removing the layer obtained in accordance with c) by means of a solvent and, optionally, e)applying a clear lacquer layer to the coating obtained after step b).

Ein Verfahren zur Herstellung von Beschichtungen auf beliebigen Substraten unter Ausbildung von patinierten Strukturoberflächen mit Metallic-Effekt a) durch Beschichtung des Substrats mit einer Spachtelähnlichen Beschichtungsmasse unter Ausbildung einer ersten, einer Rauhtiefe von mindestens 75 µm aufweisenden Schicht, b) Beschichtung dieser ersten Schicht mit einer Metallic-Basislackschicht, c) Beschichtung der gemäß b) erhaltenen Schicht mit einem physikalisch trocknenden, Farbstoffe und/oder Farbpigmente enthaltenden Beschichtungsmittel, d) partielle Entfernung der gemäß c) erhaltenen Schicht mittels eines Lösungsmittels und gegebenenfalls, e) Auftragen einer Klarlackschicht auf die nach der Stufe b) vorliegende Beschichtung.
