[origin: EP0307803A1] A motor vehicle radiator consisting of a radiator network (2) and upper and lower radiator tanks (3, 4) has on both sides of the radiator network (2) two lateral parts (1) which are produced from a metallic, U-shaped section and embrace the full height of the lateral regions of the radiator network (2). The upper regions of the lateral parts (1) are joined and fixed to the upper radiator tank (3) via external lugs (9) on the one hand, and via an internal latch (7), on the other hand, and the lower regions of the lateral parts (1) each have a bent end piece (10) which is supported in a recess of the lower radiator tank (4). The side parts (1) further have punched-out lugs (15) which engage in the radiator network (2), as well as various openings (16) for different support elements of different vehicle models. <IMAGE>
