In a device for clamping flexible printing plates (54) on the plate cylinder (l) of a rotary printing machine, a plurality of articulated lever linkages (13, 18) are arranged parallel to the axis for actuation of a clamp bar (23). The articulated lever linkages (13, 18) are brought into an "extended state" by means of a plurality of springs (43, 58) and released from this "extended state" by means of a pneumatic device (41).

Bei einer Einrichtung zum Klemmen biegsamer Druckplatten (54) auf dem Plattenzylinder (1) einer Rotationsdruckmaschine sind zur Betätigung einer Klemmleiste (23) mehrere Kniehebelgestänge (13, 18) achsprarallel angeordnet. Die Kniehebelgestänge (13, 18) werden mittels mehrerer Federn (43; 58) in eine "Strecklage" und mittels einer Pneumatikeinrichtung (41) aus dieser "Strecklage" gebracht.
