Beschrieben wird eine Vorrichtung zum Zerstäuben eines festen oder flüssigen Mediums mit Hilfe einer stehenden Ultraschallwelle, die zwischen zwei Ultraschallsendern (1, 3) ausgebildet wird. Dadurch wird eine automatische Abstimmung der stehenden Ultraschallwelle bei einer Änderung der Temperatur des Mediums oder anderer Verfahrensparameter erreicht.
