In order to produce a part (3) of a metal plate product (1) which is bent up along a bending axis (2), at least one tab (4) at the edge of the plate is bent up out of the plane (1) of the plate transversely to the bending axis (2) and the part (3) is bent up along the bending axis (2) and the upwardly bent tab (4) is cold-upset essentially in its plane to produce an upwardly bent part (3) which is stabilised by the upset tab (4). <IMAGE>

Um eine entlang einer Biegeachse (2) aufgebogene Partie (3) eines Metallplattengebildes (1) zu erzeugen, wird quer zur Biegeachse (2) mindestens eine randständige Lasche (4) aus der Plattenebene (1) aufgebogen und die Partie (3) entlang der Biegeachse (2) aufgebogen und die aufgebogene Lasche (4) im wesentlichen in ihrer Ebene kalt gestaucht, zum Erstellen einer durch die gestauchte Lasche (4) stabilisierten aufgebogenen Partie (3).
