1. Shower pole (1), on the gliding part (4) of which, said gliding part (4) bearing the hand-held shower (13) displaceably on the pole (2), there is a clamping device (5) which can be released manually and stops the gliding part at various optional levels on the pole, characterized in that a pulling-down element (6) is arranged on the shower pole (1), the manual operation of which, occurring at its lower end located essentially below the gliding part, causes the clamping state of the clamping device (5) on the pole (2) to be lifted and the gliding part (4) to be moved to a new level, at which the clamping device (5) stops the gliding part when the pulling-down element (6) is released.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Brausestange (1), an deren an der Stange (2) verschiebbarem, die Handbrause (3) tragendem Gleitteil (4) ein manuell zu lösender, das Gleitteil wahlweise in verschiedenen Höhenstellungen an der Stange arretierender Drücker (5) vorhanden ist. Damit zum Beispiel Kinder sowie Rollstuhlpatienten von Pflegeanstalten an die Handbrause heranreichen, ist an der Brausestange (1) gemäss der Erfindung eine Schnur (6) angeordnet. Durch Ziehen am Ziehgriff (10) wird der Klemmgriff des Drückers (5) an der Stange (2) gelöst und das Gleitteil (4) tiefer nach unten versetzt.
