Abstract (en)
The bottle cap and the tear-off strip associated therewith are in each case manufactured from a web (13, 24) of plastic sheet which is prestretched in the longitudinal direction. A special method ensures that, even in the case of the tear-off strip (19), the prestretching direction runs in the longitudinal direction and thus in the circumferential direction of the cap and that the tear-off strips can be produced without waste from a sheet web (24) or blank web prestretched in the longitudinal direction. <IMAGE>

Die Flaschenkapsel und das mit ihr verbundene Aufreißband sind jeweils aus einer in Längsrichtung vorgereckten Kunststoff-Folienbahn (13,24) gefertigt, wobei durch ein besonderes Verfahren sichergestellt ist, daß auch bei dem Aufreißband (19) die Vorreckrichtung in der Längsrichtung und damit in der Kapselumfangsrichtung verläuft und die Aufreißbänder abfallfrei aus einer in Längsrichtung vorgereckten Folienbahn (24) oder Zuschnittbahn gefertigt werden können.
