[origin: US4796816A] The fuel injection nozzle has a nozzle body 11 with a movable fuel control valve 13. At the front end of the nozzle body 11 there is a spray tip 12 with the discharge orifices 16. The fuel jet disintegrator 17 is running through two opposite located discharge orifices 16. The ends 18 of the disintegrator 17 have a shape of a spring with outer diameter greater than a diameter of the discharge orifices 16. During the operation, fuel jet, coming from the discharge orifice 16, impinges on the disintegrator 17, breaks up into a multitude of tiny particles and produces spray which provides more complete burning of the fuel with the reduction in smoke and fuel consumption.

Die Kraftstoffeinspritzdüse ist für Dieselmotoren bestimmt und besteht aus einem Düsenkörper (1) mit Düsenkopf (2) und mindestens einem Ausdüskanal (3), wobei im Düsenkörper (1) axial beweglich ein Steuerventil (4) angeordnet und dem Düsen kopf (2), in dem der mindestens eine Ausdüskanal (3) angeordnet ist, ein Kraftstoffdesintegrator (5) zugeordnet ist. Um die Kraftstoff-Luftmischung zu verbessern, ist der Desintegrator (5) in bezug auf die Längsmittelachse (6) des mindestens einen Ausdüskanals (3) sich längs oder quer zu dieser Längsmittelachse (6) erstreckend in Distanz vor der Ausmündung des Ausdüskanales im Strahlbereich (7) angeordnet. Der Desintegrator (5) ist dabei in Form mindestens eines im Strahlbereich (7) an einer Vielzahl von Stellen wirksamen Zerstäubers ausgebildet.
