Abstract (en)
This invention relates to a color photographic silver halide recording material containing a dye image-forming coupler compound and a urea compound of the formula: <CHEM> wherein; R<1> is a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl or a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group; R<2> is hydrogen or a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group; R<3> is a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl or a substituted or unsubstituted alkoxy group or an electron-withdrawing group with the proviso that R<3> is not a 5-mercaptotetrazole group; and n is from 0 to 3. which is capable of altering the spectral absorption properties of a dye formed by reaction of the coupler compound with oxidized developing agent.
