This enables the roller gate to be opened quickly and leaves total height of the gate opening (6) free immediately when the gate is opened. In addition, the lateral arrangement of the upright roll results in a compact construction.

Dans la porte décrite, l'ouverture (6) est recouverte dans la position fermée par un écran protecteur lamellaire (2, 2') formé de lamelles (8) rigides et mutuellement inclinables qui, dans la position ouverte, se trouvent en rouleau (12) dans une région marginale de l'ouverture de porte (6). Ladite porte est caractérisée en ce que les lamelles (8) s'étendent au-dessus de la hauteur de l'ouverture de porte, en ce que le rouleau (12) est situé au niveau d'un bord latéral de l'ouverture de porte, et en ce que l'écran protecteur lamellaire (2, 2') est guidé et supporté dans la région du bord supérieur ou inférieur de l'ouverture de porte. La porte roulante peut ainsi être ouverte rapidement, et lors de l'ouverture, la hauteur totale de l'ouverture de porte (6) est immédiatement dégagée. En outre, l'agencement latéral du rouleau vertical permet une construction compacte.
