Known pneumatic equilibrators for guns have the disadvantage that, at low temperatures, they are susceptible to temperature and therefore can no longer fully compensate the front load of the vertical aiming part. The invention remedies this in that the cylindrical space (2) of the equilibrator cylinder (1), which receives an extendable control rod (4) in a guided manner and which is filled with gas, is connected to a device (9, 10, 11, 12) compensating the temperature-related change of pressure of the gas in the cylinder space (2). Because the device (9, 10, 11, 12) comprises a pressure governor (9) connected to a compressed-gas source (10), the temperature-related pressure change is compensated by a supply or removal of gas. Thus, in the event of a temperature drop below T0, as a result of the pressure drop, detected by the pressure governor (9), of the cylinder-space pressure applied to it, the pressure governor (9) supplies gas from the gas source (10) for pressure compensation, whereas, in the event of a temperature rise above T0, it ensures a removal of the gas to be removed for pressure compensation. <IMAGE>

Bekannte pneumatische Ausgleicher für Geschütze haben den Nachteil, daß sie bei tiefen Temperaturen temperaturanfällig sind und deshalb die Vorderlastigkeit des Höhenrichtteiles nicht mehr hundertprozentig ausgleichen können. Die Erfindung schafft hier Abhilfe, indem der Zylinderraum (2) des Ausgleichszylinders (1), der eine ausziehbare Regelstange (4) geführt aufnimmt und mit Gas gefüllt ist, mit einer die temperaturbedingte Druckänderung des Gases im Zylinderraum (2) ausgleichenden Einrichtung (9, 10, 11, 12) verbunden ist. Dadurch, daß die Einrichtung (9, 10, 11, 12) einen an eine Druckgasquelle (10) angeschlossenen Druckregler (9) umfaßt, wird die temperaturbedingte Druckänderung durch eine Gaszu- oder-abführung ausgeglichen. Dabie führt der Druckregler (9) im Falle eines Temperaturabfalles unter T0 aufgrund des durch den Druckregler (9) festgestellten Druckabfalles des an ihm anstehenden Zylinderraumdruckes Gas aus der Gasquelle (10) zum Druckausgleich zu, während er bei einem Temperaturanstieg über T0 für eine Abführung des zum Druckausgleich abzuführenden Gases sorgt.
