[origin: EP0309728A2] In a piston (1) for axial-piston engines, the piston (1) being designed as a hollow body with an axial cut-out (2), on whose circumferential wall there are arranged at least two annular shoulder surfaces (6), which run in the circumferential direction, face away from one another and are spaced apart from one another, and which engage with light-alloy material (4) cast into the cut-out (2), it is intended to improve the attachment of the light-alloy material (4) in the hollow body, while ensuring a simple design.
