Abstract (en)

The connection device comprises two assemblies which can be moved towards each other. One of the assemblies comprises a first mechanical linkage plate and a first electrical connection element fixed to the plate. The other assembly comprises a second mechanical linkage plate and a second connection element which can move in relation to the second plate parallel to the plugging-in direction. The second plate carries: components intended to be engaged in the first plate and to produce a relative centring of the two plates, remotely actuated in order to lock one plate onto the other in a position for aligning the contacts; and driving means (34) for moving the second connection element (20) in relation to the second plate (28) between a rear position where the contacts of the elements are separated from each other even though the plates are in contact and a forward position where the contacts of the two elements are plugged into each other. The device is especially useful in the nuclear field, metallurgical engineering and shipping. <IMAGE>

Le dispositif de connexion comprend deux ensembles déplaçables l'un vers l'autre. Un des ensembles comprend un premier plateau de liaison mécanique et un premier élément de connexion électrique fixé au plateau. L'autre ensemble comprend un second plateau de liaison mécanique et un second élément de connexion déplaçable par rapport au second plateau parallèlement à la direction d'enfichage. Le second plateau porte : des organes destinés à s'engager dans le premier plateau et à réaliser un centrage relatif des deux plateaux, commandés à distance pour verrouiller les plateaux l'un sur l'autre dans une position d'alignement des contacts ; et des moyens moteurs (34) pour déplacer le second élément de connexion (20) par rapport au second plateau (28) entre une position arrière où les contacts des éléments sont séparés les uns des autres alors même que les plateaux sont en contact et une position avant où les contacts des deux éléments sont enfichés l'un sur l'autre. Le dispositif est notamment utilisable dans le domaine nucléaire, la sidérurgie et la marine.
