[origin: EP0310539A2] The method of processing fly ash from incineration plants is characterised in that the ashes are successively subjected to at least two of the following separation procedures in any sequence, depending on their origin and composition: flotation, separation in a hydrocyclone, wet and/or dry magnetic separation, air classification, wet and/or dry sieving, sink/float separation, after which, if desired, a dehydration, a thickening and a drying takes place. The dry magnetic separation, dry sieving and air classification are carried out either before the wet separating procedure or after the drying, after which, if desired, a grinding is carried out. The device for carrying out the method comprises a combination of different separating devices connectable one behind the other in any sequence. <IMAGE>
