[origin: EP0310544A1] The seat (13, 13') with the adjusting mechanism (19) is always covered at the bottom by the same covering board (25) independently of the seat shape, which allows a great variety in shape of the seat. Said covering board is screwed to the seat (13, 13') or the seat support (21). Armrests can be fitted or exchanged easily. Indentations (47, 49), extending laterally outwards in the covering board, are provided for receiving said armrests. <IMAGE>
