Abstract (en)
The lip seal for the centre board case of a sail board (1) has two support strips (3) let into the board body on either side of the opening (2) of the centre board case as well as two cover strips (5) which end flush with the profile (4) of the underwater part of the sail board, are designed as clamping strips and are intended for clamping in place in the support strips (5). The cover strips (5) consist of a flat extruded section which has an outer clamping zone (6) of hard plastic, e.g. polyvinyl chloride, and an inner zone forming a sealing lip (7) and made of flexible plastic, e.g. polyurethane. The two sealing lips (7) of the lip seal form an elastic, tight closure of the opening (2) of the centre board case in the retracted (8') and extended position (8'') of the centre board (8). <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Die Lippenabdichtung für den Schwertkasten eines Surfsegelbrettes (1) weist zwei beidseitig der Schwertkastenöffnung (2) in den Brettkörper eingelassene Trägerleisten (3) sowie zwei mit dem Profil (4) des Unterwasserschiffes abschließende, als Klemmleisten ausgebildete Deckleisten (5) zum Einklemmen in die Trägerleisten (3) auf. Die Deckleisten (5) bestehen aus einem flachen Strangpreßprofil, das eine äußere Klemmzone (6) aus einem harten Kunststoff, z.B. Polyvinylchlorid, und eine innere, eine Dichtlippe (7) bildende Zone aus elastischem Kunststoff, z.B. Polyurethan, aufweist. Die beiden Dichtlippen (7) der Lippenabdichtung bilden einen elastischen, dichten Verschluß der Schwertkastenöffnung (2) in der eingeklappten (8') und der ausgeklappten Stellung (8") des Schwertes (8).
