Abstract (en)
Alkanolamine hydroxyalkylates and fatty esters are used as conditioners in froth floation processes, especially for cleaning coal. The preferred alkanolamine hydroxyalkylates are the ethoxylates and propoxylates of mono-, di-, and tri-ethanolamines. Suitably, said hydroxyalklates are esterified with tall oil fatty acids.
