Bullet for a rifled firearm, of the type comprising a core (1) having a cone-shaped head (2) and a shank (3), said core (1) being inserted into a casing (7) made of ductile material, characterised in that the head (2) of the core (1) is connected to the shank by means of a shoulder (6), whilst the casing (7) possesses, facing the shank, a rear part (12) having a thickness greater than that of the rest of the casing, this rear part (12) possessing corrugations (13) to form circular grooves substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the bullet, anchoring means (9, 10) being provided between the outer surface of the shank (3) and the inner surface of the rear part (12) of the casing, and a free space (14) being formed between the shoulder (6) and the corresponding part of the casing (7). <IMAGE>

Projectile pour arme rayée et du type comprenant un noyau (1) présentant une tête en forme d'ogive (2) et une queue (3), ledit noyau (1) étant inséré dans une enveloppe (7) en matière ductile caractérisé en ce que la tête (2) du noyau (1) est raccordée à la queue par un épaulement (6), tandis que l'enveloppe (7) présente en regard de la queue une partie arrière (12) ayant une épaisseur supérieure à celle du reste de l'enveloppe, cette partie arrière (12) présentant des ondulations (13) pour former des gorges circulaires sensiblement perpendiculaires à l'axe longitudinal du projectile, des moyens d'ancrage (9,10) étant prévus entre la surface externe de la queue (3) et la surface interne de la partie arrière (12) de l'enveloppe, et un espace libre (14) étant ménagé entre l'épaulement (6) et la partie correspondante de l'enveloppe (7).
