Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0310754A2] The separation device consists of a row of interconnected concrete elements which form a separating and/or sliding wall on or between roadways, are designed as horizontal prisms and adjoin one another with front faces which run at an angle of 45 DEG to the prism length. The concrete elements are in each case directed towards the traffic and the traffic direction, with the end at which the lateral prism surface and front face form an obtuse angle, the front faces and/or base faces are equipped with synthetic elastic, if appropriate knopped, material for the purpose of increasing the mutual connection, and the base faces have at least one transverse, downwardly open groove for drainage and increasing displacement security, whereas there are provided, starting from the front faces, either in the region of the base face and/or the top lateral surface, and symmetrically to the vertical longitudinal mid-plane, slots which are extended conically or at the ends and receive cross-sectionally adapted, at least metal- reinforced connecting bolts, and/or approximately dovetail-shaped recesses for receiving bridging bolts are provided on lateral surfaces facing away from the traffic. <IMAGE>
