[origin: EP0310820A2] The yarn storage and delivery device has, on the yarn entry side, a combined yarn-braking and knot-monitoring device (21) consisting of two rollers (25, 26) which interact with one another and of which one (25), via which the yarn (20) is deflected, is mounted freely on an immovable axle, whilst the other roller (26) is mounted on a pivoting arm (29), on which acts a spring (33) determining the braking force and adjustable via a set screw (31) and the pivoting range of which is determined by an adjustable stop (32.1) which determines the size of the knot-monitoring gap (34) between the two rollers (25, 26).
