Abstract (en)
The multicontact pin holder of a modular connector for telephone or low-current installations has a means of insulation piercing wiring which comprises at least one pivoting cover (3), which can be pressed down onto the body (2) of the contact pin holder (1) and from which there project compression ribs (4) on the contact side, which, when the cover (3) is pressed down onto the body (2), penetrate into its wire insertion slots (5) and press the inserted wires into the insertion piercing devices (6) of the contact pins (7). In this way it is possible to carry out solder-free insulation piercing wiring rapidly, safely and absolutely without problems. <IMAGE>

Der Mehrfach-Kontaktstifthalter eines modularen Steckverbinders für Telefon- oder Schwachstromanlagen weist Mittel zur Schneid-Klemm-Andrahtung auf, die mindestens einen, auf den Körper (2) des Kontaktstifthalters (1) niederdrückbaren Schwenkdeckel (3) umfassen, von welchem kontaktseitige Druckrippen (4) abragen, die beim Niederdrücken des Deckels (3) auf den Körper (2) in dessen Draht-Einlegeschlitze (5) eindringen und die eingelegten Drähte in die Klemmschneiden (6) der Kontaktstifte (7) pressen. Damit wird es möglich, die lötfreie Schneid-Klemm-Andrahtung schnell, sicher und absolut problemlos durchzuführen.
