Abstract (en)
In this piston press for pressing liquid out of a material for pressing, especially out of a batch (14) of wet textiles, by means of a press ram (13) which can be moved onto the material for pressing by the piston of a pressure cylinder (10), the cylindrical casing (15) receiving the material for pressing can be closed off at the bottom by a perforated pressure plate (16). In this cylindrical casing (15), into which the material for pressing and the press ram (13) can be introduced in succession from above, the press ram (13) is connected to the orifice edge (17) of a pot-shaped elastically flexible cushion body (18). Furthermore, the press ram (13) has a connection piece (27) which can be connected to a water system in order to introduce water into the cushion body (18), the bottom of which forms a diaphragm (35) which can be pressed against the material for pressing. A line (28, 31) connects the connection piece (27) permanently to the water system, and there is a valve device (32, 33) which can be actuated from a location outside the path of movement of the press ram (13) and which can be switched selectively for the supply of water or for the removal of air. <IMAGE>

Bei dieser Kolbenpresse zum Auspressen von Flüssigkeit aus einem Preßgut, insbesondere aus einem Posten (14) nasser Textilien, mittels eines von dem Kolben eines Druckzylinders (10) auf das Preßgut bewegbaren Preßstempels (13), ist der das Preßgut aufnehmende zylindrische Mantel (15) unten von einer perforierten Druckplatte (16) abschließbar. In diesen zylindrischen Mantel (15), in den von oben das Preßgut und der Preßstempel (13) nacheinander einführbar sind, ist der Preßstempel (13) mit dem Öffnungsrand (17) eines topfförmigen elastisch nachgiebigen Polsterkörpers (18) verbunden. Ferner weist der Preßstempel (13) einen Anschlußstutzen (27) auf, der mit einem Wassernetz verbindbar ist, um Wasser in den Polsterkörper (18) einzuführen, dessen Boden eine an das Preßgut andrückbare Membran (35) bildet. Es ist eine den Anschlußstutzen (27) ständig mit dem Wassernetz verbindende Leitung (28,31) und eine Ventileinrichtung (32,33) vorhanden, die von einem Ort außerhalb der Bewegungsbahn des Preßstempels (13) betätigbar ist und die wahlweise zum Zuführen von Wasser oder zum Ablassen von Luft schaltbar ist.
