Auxiliary tool for mutual clamping of two plates 7, 8 which butt together with their edges 9, 10, in particular when adhesively bonding the plates to produce a composite plate for interior furnishings. Such a composite plate is suitable, for example, as a worktop for fitted kitchens or as a wall panel. A particularly easy and reliable clamping of the plates against one another, in particular when the edges 9, 10 are to be glued together, is achieved by the fact that adhesion elements 2, 3, each designed as vacuum adhesion devices, are connected by means of a clamping device 6, 17, 19 so as to be displaceable towards one another. The vacuum adhesion devices adhere to the surface 11, 12 of the plates. <IMAGE>

Hilfswerkzeug zum gegenseitigen Verspannen von zwei mit ihren Kanten 9,10 aneinanderstoßenden Platten 7,8, insbesondere beim Verkleben der Platten zur Herstellung eines Plattenverbundes für Inneneinrichtungen. Ein derartiger Plattenverbund ist beispielsweise als Arbeitsplatte für Einbauküchen oder als Wandpaneel geeignet. Ein besonders leichtes und zuverlässiges Verspannen der Arbeitsplatten gegeneinander, insbesondere wenn die Kanten 9,10 miteinander verleimt werden sollen, wird dadurch erreicht, daß Haftelemente 2,3, die jeweils als Vakuumhaftvorrichtungen ausgebildet sind, mittels einer Spannvorrichtung 6,17,19 gegeneinander verschiebbar verbunden sind. Die Vakuumhaftvorrichtungen haften auf der Oberfläche 11, 12 der Platten.
