In the method for fabricating hanging collections consisting of textile samples overlapping one another like fish-scales, textile samples (M) are used, cut into strips, the length (L) whereof is such that a plurality of collections can be produced therefrom. These textile samples are arranged overlapping one another like fish-scales on pre-glued supporting tapes (B). In this manner, a plurality of cohesive collections are produced simultaneously in a single working step. In the example shown, four collections are produced by zigzag cuts along the lines (Y). The method is carried out with the aid of a machine which progressively moves the supporting tapes (B) away from the resting place of the sample strips, and provides for automatic application of glue. If appropriate, the machine also affixes a masking tape. <IMAGE>

Beim Verfahren zum Herstellen von Hängekollektionen aus geschuppt überlappenden Stoffmustern, werden in Streifen geschnittene Stoffmuster (M) verwendet, deren Länge (L) so gross ist, dass daraus mehrere Kollektionen hergestellt werden können. Diese Stoffmuster werden geschuppt überlappend auf zuvor beleimte Trägerbänder (B) aufgelegt. Auf diese Weise werden in einem Arbeitsgang mehrere zusammenhängende Kollektionen gleichzeitig hergestellt. Durch Zickzackschnitte entlang den Linien (Y) entstehen im dargestellten Beispiel vier Kollektionen. Das Verfahren wird mit Hilfe einer Maschine durchgeführt, welche die Trägerbänder (B) schrittweise von der Auflegestelle der Musterstreifen wegbewegt und für einen automatischen Leimauftrag sorgt. Gegebenenfalls klebt die Maschine noch ein Abdeckband auf.
