1. Device for transporting spacer frames for insulating glass, from a first linear conveyor (17) which extends along the lower edge of a lateral support (11) for the spacer frames, to a second linear conveyor (31) for spacer frames which extends parallel to the first linear conveyor (17) along the lower edge of a lateral support (30) for the spacer frames, wherein the lateral supports (11, 30) are preferably formed by a substantially continuous sliding wall (11), with a suspension conveyor (6) for the spacer frames preferably moving transverse to the lateral supports (11, 30) and on which a plurality of hook pairs (26) are provided, characterized in that there is provided a device (5) for transferring spacer frames to the suspension conveyor (6), which device comprises at least two carriers (21) in the lateral support (11), projecting forwardly beyond this and adapted to rise to lift the spacer frames along the lateral support (11) up to the height of the suspension conveyor (6), and a slider (23) movable to and fro transverse to the lateral support (11) and which in one of its end positions engages a spacer frame hanging on the carriers (21) and in its other end position is associated with a hook pair (26) of the suspension conveyor (6), and in that, on the outfeed side of the suspension conveyor (6), carriers (36) projecting beyond the support (30) are movable in the lateral support (30) of the second linear conveyor (31), for lowering a spacer frame to the second linear conveyor (31), and in that, after each stroke of the suspension conveyor (6) a hook pair (26) of the same is located behind the lateral support (30).
